Stephens Anniversary

On Sunday, July 18th, following the morning worship service, Miillie and Billy Stephens celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary at a reception held in Fellowship Hall.  The Stephen's son, John, his wife, Cheryl, and grandson, Chad, along with a large number of friends were present to enjoy the occasion.  The tables were decorated with blue flowers and delicious refreshments were served.

The Stephens are long time residents of Fairhope.  Millie and Billy graduated together from Fairhope High School in 1957.  Their class was the last to graduate from the old school building which is now the Kindergarten Center on Church Street.  They married soon after graduation when the Fairhope Christian Church was located on the corner of Church Street and St. James Avenue.
